Mother/Daughter Stamp Camp

Very exciting day!! Tonight we are having a Mother/Daughter Stamp Camp at Lucia Baptist Church. This is one of the cards we are making. The host has 2 daughters. They each shared their favorite color and wanted to know if I could design a card using it. One said she liked light blue and the other light pink. So here is the one using light blue. Will send the one using like pink tomorrow maybe.

This is a fun great Easel card that we made at our camp Friday night. It was a lot of fun designing and making different “types” of cards that truly don’t take much longer than the normal folds we usually do. Plus they are SO fun and different!! Scroll down if you want to see the buckle card we made along as well. Maybe this week I can post the scallop card we made as well!

Easter Bunny Bars

Can you believe that Easter is right around the corner!! This year is going by so quickly. I got this idea from this awesome blog: http://www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net/2008/03/a-little-easter.html. I revamped it a smidgen and got my little Easter guy :). Too cute!

If you want to make this the punches you use are:
small and large oval
1/4″, 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ round punch

Card stock you use is:
pretty ink pink, chocolate chip, black, creamy caramel, whisper white

Pretty in pink ribbon or whatever color. I would suggest an assortment of pastel colors for the ribbon and the paper wrapped about the candy bar (mine isn’t wrapped just invision as I didn’t have a candy bar). The saying came out of the You Crack me Up Egg Stamp set Stampin Up has (not sure of the name but will get it).

You use a white gel pen on the eyes and a black pen on the wiskers and the teeth (the teeth you just cut a small square out of cardstock).

Super simple and cute!!

Stamp Camping tonight!

Very excited tonight about our Stamp Camp!! We are making 2 detailed “different” cards and this is one of them. Different meaning, we cut and have them open or look differently than the basic fold in 1/2 card. This is a “buckle” card, then we are also making an easel card and a scallop card. Very exciting camp tonight!!

Girls Night Out at Calvary Baptist Church

We are very excited to be doing a girls night out at Calvary Baptist Church here in Charlotte. We are doing a card camp. Making 4 different cards and duplicating them 3 times each. This is the “sneek peek” I gave them of the 2 cards they will be making.

We are using mostly all goodies from the mini catalog and the Sale a Bration catalog from Stampin Up!! Those are my favorite right now and not out much longer!!

Can’t wait to stamp with the 9 ladies tonight!!

Spring is in the Air….

And when Spring is in the air, sweet pretty birdies come out to be beautiful :)!!

We did this super fun bird house at our camp last month to get us excited about spring, easter and so much more 🙂 A lot of my customers said they were going to buy mini cadburry eggs to lay inside of them. Super cute idea huh?! 🙂
