It’s an exciting day today….we are going to go a stampin in the Indian Trail Area!! I am very excited about it! A friend of mine who I met at a Stampin Up workshop is doing a show. I haven’t seen her in probably 2 years. She has a group of about 10-12 ladies that are very new to stamping….some are mother/daughters which I just love! They are all interested in card making and scrapbooking so this is a sneak peak of one of the projects we are doing. It’s a 12×12 scrapbook page. Using the leaves set out of the mini catalog and then making this cute little turkey again out of punches! A touch of the fall designer paper . Whatcha think??

I am a little behind on posting, but had to share some of my fall favorites! We had a camp 2 weeks ago and we focused on fall (which is such a fun time of year). I am loving making turkey’s out of punches!! I told my husband I wanted to host Thanksgiving at our house this year just so I can put these place setting tags and little turkeys everywhere!! haha He said I could as long as I had them everywhere and didn’t forget to do them! Ha. Such a sweet hubby! Anyway, you can see lots of Stampin Up goodies!! The jumbo wheel is underneath the chocolate stripped ribbon. A very simple fun way to make a card!! I will have to say I am in love with this new SU ribbon. It’s new in this catalog and it’s so easy to use, it’s extremely soft but goes where you want easily, but doesn’t pop off the card too much (you know most ribbon this side is so big/thick it costs most to ship)….the wreath was made with a fall stamp set I have blogged about before- I can’t remember the name….it’s got the peacock/bird image….such a fun one!! FUN NEW STAMPS!

Tonight I got me some new goodies and I was so excited to get to play with them! I used the Stampin Up textured background plates for the green cardstock on the back. That is Stampin Up Garden green. Then I used this fun new animal paper. I textured the edges with a Stampin Up paper tool that I just really enjoy! It pops the paper up and gives it kind of a messy, sharp texture to it. I used this fun silky ribbon I received and the animal stamps to match the paper. I wanted to texture the animals a bit. I didn’t have any fun flock in the colors I needed which made me sad, but I did have some glitter. So I used some crystal effects Stampin Up has and some glitter. It’s not super easy to see, but the birds neck and the horse’s white part on his head is glittery and raised up!

We have an awesome Stampin Up Fall Themed camp tonight. Will have to post pictures of what we made tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good night .

Things I love….

This Stampin Up set is just so super cute!! As you can see it says “Things I love….chocolate, shopping, new shoes…”. Then you open it up and it says “but most of all you”….This set I knew I had to have once the new Stampin Up catalog came out! I was determined to make this for my husband….and I did. For our anniversary in August I made this up for him and wrote him a letter on the inside. We have been married for 7 years. Where has the time gone. We have been together 10, married 7 and have 5 children. God is so good!! I feel so truly blessed. This life is BEYOND anything I could of even imagine….

This card made me realize and think about all the things I love in life- my awesome Heavenly Father, my wonderful amazing husband, my beautiful children, my stamps, my businesses, all my blesses both big and small….WOW!!

Today, take time to think of all the things you love….You may, like me, truly find so many things you love….and that turns into all the blessings and joys youi have….and just thankful thoughts we don’t always spend time thinking….

It truly brings a smile to my face, how about yours?!

Upcoming downline meeting card

My upline with Stampin Up is by far the best out there ….she is so sweet and such a great mentor in life and with stamping. She makes it a point to stay in touch with her downlines and do whatever she can to help us succeed. One thing she does is offers a downline meeting every 3 months. We get together at her house, chat, making samples, fellowship, eat yummy food she prepared and have a blast! This downline meeting I will be out of town . Very sad day…however I still wanted to participate, so I made this card for the swap. all those coming are making a card and then we are swapping ….so we can walk away with lots of samples! I used this Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and just thought this card turned out So super cute!!

Hope everyone has a good night. i am exhausted. Been up since 5 am, did a lot of working, cleaning, laundry and packing Blessed day and great family day but now exhausted….wanitng to snuggle with my hubby and enjoy some shut eye

Busy today trying to get well and trying to design cards for our next Stampin Up camp!! Our next camp we will be doing the FAMOUS 20 cards for $25.00!! This is always the most popular camp!! Of coarse you can see why, cards for $1.25 that look SO fabulous and truly sell for $3.00-$4.00 each!! This “just for you” card I think is an amazing masculine card. Can be turned into a birthday card or just left blank. That way anytime you need a card for a guy- you have one!! It’s hard to find those great guy cards!!

More samples of the camp to come- the camp- not sure if it’s on the site yet or not, but it’s September 17th, 18th or 19th…so if you are in the Charlotte area and want to come….get in on the date you want NOW before the slot is fun!!

Autumn Days is one stamp set that is in the new Stampin Up catalog. At first I wasn’t sure I would like it, however it grew on me….once I ordered it and got it in I just fell in love! It makes the simpliest, cutest cards!! I have been having so much fun with this stamp set. I will try to post some of my other samples another day.

Hello!! I didn’t post yesterday because I was not feeling well at all!! I haven’t been sick in yeras and yesterday I felt like I got hit like a ton of bricks. I even went to the dr, which once again I haven’t done in YEARS!! Luckily hubby is home doing homeschooling and kid stuff so I can rest, which is a totally blessing!!

Now onto the cards- I love this set by Sweet N Sassy! I got in last year to do some cards for their design team thing…Luckily I Didn’t make the design team because the Lord knew I didn’t have time, but I still love using her sets!!

This card was used for a card order I was doing, just to welcome someone into their new home. It’s using Maya Arts ribbon, Stampin Up cardstock, background stamp and watercolors/blender pens!

My love for string instruments

I have been wanting this Stampin Up stamp set since it came out in the catalog a good whlie back….I used to play the violin and just loved it….so relaxing, enjoyable and beautiful….I played from 4th grade through college a bit…although the more I think about it the last time I played was at my Grandfather’s funeral 6 years ago. Where does time go?!

None the less, I just love this imagine….the card intself is so simple and I just figured what more do you need….the imagine says it all….

MINI CATALOG KICK OFF CAMP!!

I am so excited!! Stampin Up has a new mini catalog coming out September 1st and it’s SO awesome!! We have so many seasonal things in there, PLUS a huge new Build a Bear Line (yes we are teaming with Build a Bear!!) and a digital scrapbooking. I am doing a camp next weekend to kick it off and show everyone many of the new sets that are inside the mini (many…I went shop happy I couldn’t resist!)

This picture shows the items we will be making at the camp! The cost is $12.00 or a $25.00 purchase. If you are in the Charlotte area (or even Denver, Lincolnton, Gastonia, etc)….and want to come- let me know! the camp is Thusday August 27, Friday August 28 or saturday august 29. saturday has filled up, but that doesn’t mean someone won’t switch last minute, so if you want that date let me know.

these cute vases are from IKEA as well. LOVE that store!! I have to go there next week to get them for the camp….darn!! A great excuse to go to a huge, awesome store!!
