Some BabyLeg Updates (and new info about my business)

Hello everyone! I do apologize it’s taken me SO long to get the winner of our cardmaking project for the cancer patients. I was wanting to get a huge picture with the 200 pairs of BabyLegs and all the cards we got donated, however I am still collecting and waiting….so I just wanted to annouce the winner. Thanksgiving is getting closer!

It’s Tuesday. Is everyone busy getting ready for Thanksgiving? I know 1/2 our family is in Gatlinburg enjoying Thanksgiving and the rest of the family is here coming over on Thursday….I actually felt pretty good today and was able to clean 1/2 the house, now to get the other 1/2 clean for guests on Thursday and we will be good .

The children are napping and once they wake up we are going to my brother’s house, he just got a dog. The children don’t like pets, but hopefully they will like him and grow fond of him ….then we are going to Steak N Shake to eat, which is a huge treat for us by the way (my mom is buying) and then off to the mall to do some secret shopping My mom and brother want to get some info out of my husband….so we will have a fun afternoon/evening….

I wanted to share another Thanksgiving card with you. This is using Gina K Designs stamp set that I just love. I used Stampin Up colors like I always do and aquapainters. I haven’t ever really used them before but like how they turned out…..

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great Monday. It seems like everyone is busy getting ready for Thanksgiving, preparing their house, the meals, traveling, shopping….what a busy week it will be. Here at our house we are just hanging out. We did get all we needed for Thanksgiving. Luckily I do an organic vegetable box that gets delivered to my door which is nice to get all my veggies for Thanskgiving, saves me really having to go to the store for much. We are doing Thanksgiving here and my hubby’s family is out of town so it will just be our family, my brother, my mom and a family friend….but we are looking forward to it.

Since it was Thanksgiving week I figured why not focus on cards. This card is using a Pink Cat Leave set and a saying from stampendous. All items bought from Limelight Papercrafts.

I truly love being Thankful and being reminded of what we are thankful for. Sometimes, especially at rough times, it’s hard to remember and think of something we are thankful for. We have spend the past few days really seeking that….the economy is so poor and even as our family we are dealing with many bumps in the road, but we are just so thankful for so many things, friends, family…being a child of God….if nothing else, that is all the reason to be thankful any day of the year.

As I was reading this I think I stamped…or placed….this image not straight As I had to tilt my head to read the card! LOL

Yesterday I was having issues with my blog, so I wasn’t able to get on, but thanks to wordpress being so awesome, all is well and hopefully I will be problem free.

Around here we are just enjoying life and I am trying not to get burnt out on stamping. Did you think that could ever be a possibility?!

I like this saying from Unity- I think it’s just so neato if we can only remember it daily…..to have faith in that awesome way.

Sorry to cut this short, I have little ones slamming doors and that can’t be good.

Birthday fun around here

We have a family friend who has been helping me a lot of business stuff and her birthday is Saturday. She is coming over to help me with my mom and we are throwing her a small suprise birthday :). So we are busy planning out what color table cloth and party supplies the little ones want to use and of coarse what we want to bake . We have decided on our friend’s favorite- yellow cake with chocolate icing and m&m cookies. So we will spend Friday baking after we get all the goodies. I went to the store but forgot the cookie stuff.

The children are so excited- I think my oldest is planning to make a card which will be super cute, I will have to share.

Not much else going on around here….still trying to not feel sick and get through a full “normal’ day…..I was able to clean some Monday and yesterday we had to take the baby to get some shots   Then we went out for some Christmas looking to see if we can finish up a few family members. Small Christmas this year, still big when it comes to celebrating Jesus, but small when it comes to the $ we have to spend on gifts for everyone- I just love giving, but we have to get creative this year…which can be a challenge ya know?!

Now for my card….it’s using Just Johanna stamps and paper, I don’t know what brand, but all the goodies from this card is at Limelight Papercrafts .

Christmas on the brain

I have had Christmas on the brian lately. Sorry I have been missing for a week. I was so sick and tired from this pregnancy it took all I had just to survive. I also had a huge event Saturday with my business which was so great! Everything is still either in the car or in the living room . Today is a better day though, I was able to work on 3 rooms in the house, to slowly clean it since I haven’t touched it in about a month.

Christmas bazaars everywhere. I went to the one this past Saturday and have another one December 4th….lots of Christmas cards, Christmas card holders…I can’t even think of what else.

This is one of my favorite SU stamp sets, I love this card! It opns up top where the navy is….it was a different cut card I was going for and I thought it turned out nice.

I hope everyone is doing well….I look forward to catching up with everyone and staying in touch again!

I figured, since I was moving SO SLOW, I should use my card where I used Just Johanna’s snail…..

Today is a Monday, does it feel like a Monday to you? For me, it’s been a great day, just slow. I am so exhausted, but that doesn’t seem to be anything new. I have just been enjoying the little ones. I have a huge event on Saturday with my business that I am trying to get stuff ready for and just struggling. I just want to sleep!

I hope you had a great weekend….we did, it was a bit busy, but very nice. This card I made last week for a card order. I thought it was sweet and simple. All the stamps/accessories came from Limelight Papercrafts. I used Stampin Up punches and card stock

What a Busy Birthday day…

Today was my brother’s 29th birthday. You would think it was the children’s. They were so excited they woke up at 6:30 am wanting to bake all the goodies and go there NOW. We weren’t even suppose to be there until 4, after naps, but everything got edited. We decided to go ahead and cook and go over for lunch. It worked out well because we helped him with a bunch of things. He was having a cook out/housewarming thing all today for his birthday….kill 2 birds with one stone I guess. So it was a great time.

I got home and felt so tired and sick….the joy of pregnancy, but that is OK-God is good right?! As I have a little one at my feet yelling “BYE” to everyone today. Too cute!!
